Week 3 RSS Reflections

What did you learn?
The RSS will give me recommendations for other feeds.

How will you use what you have learned?
It will take less time to find what I am interested in and I will be able to continue at a faster pace then I have been going.

How did you feel about this tool?
It is a time saver.

What do you not want to forget about this tool?
I don't want to forget how to "unsubscribe".

How can this be used in the classroom or in your educational role?
It is a great organizational tool.

Should you use this in the classroom or your educational role?
I will be using this in both settings.

What questions do you still have about this tool?
Not sure I have any now, b
ut I may have some in the future.

I chose Google Reader because it was simple and easy to use.

What made you choose those blogs?
http://primarygames.com/ is very entertaining to me, so I think it would entice students to use it.
http://simplyrecipes.com/ is a great place to get gluten free recipes. I love to cook.
http://delbalzo2.blogspot.com she has great sites for students and parents to try.

What did you learn?
I learned how to create a blog and change the design.

How will you use what you have learned?
I will add posts with information for my parents and students to my blog.

How did you feel about starting a blog?
I was excited but somewhat frustrated at times.

What is one of the focuses you want to remember when you update your blog?
Keep it simple but informative.

How can this be used in the classroom or in your educational role?
I hope to find more effective and efficient ways to share resources with teachers, parents and students.

Should you use this in the classroom or your educational role?
I would use it in both roles.

What questions do you still have about blogging?
Not sure, maybe I will have questions later.

Learning How to Blog

I am a dyslexia specialist with Round Rock ISD in Round Rock, Texas. This is my first adventure in blogging. I am learning this because I need to reach my students and parents. It will be rewarding after figuring it all out.
